INEXS® captures all well penetrations and/or surface outcrops of formations within a specific project area.
We pick gross formation thickness, identify lithology and calculate variations within formation such as net to gross sand or net feet of porosity. If possible, we identify the depositional environment.
All oil and gas production from target formations is identified, as well as trapping mechanisms.
We define and map major lithologic changes within the formation including gross isopach, lithology, depositional environment and facies.
We cross-correlate regional cumulative oil and gas production from each well and field independently to the regional lithologic map and identify the trapping mechanisms of each field to determine the most attractive and prolific regional lithologic trends and traps.
An opportunity map is generated showing the potential for each formation.
We repeat for all prospective formations within the project area – then summarize the results in a final report with recommendations
